Heya Mystie! Good to see you.

How are you, Ryo, and the family doing?
Love Earthbound! Great game! =)
Yeah. I was also a sad panda when Earthbound for the N64 and the Lucas one for the SNES was never released here.
I remember after beating Earthbound many years back and immediately calling Nintendo of America with multiple detailed reasons why they NEEDED to make a follow up to their game.

The agent at the other end made things sound so promising, but I guess his pull wasn't enough.
Mind you thats when calling places like Sega and Nintendo had fun stuff to do over the phone like listen to their game soundtracks while you waited for someone to pick up the phone, and bs chat with the operators about videogames.
Earthbound also brings me sad memories... like this time when I worked so hard to make the "ultimate file". By Ultimate file, I meant like having everything, best equipment, and above all Lv.99 for all characters. You could say I had a lot of free time back then.
Anyway, I hit Lv.99 with everyone, and then one day I loaned the game out to my friend's younger sister, and she deleted it on accidently. All I remember running through my head was this: "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!"

"Doh!"
After that, I used the Game Genie and played with a hacked level of Lv.125.
